For translators, what we could benefit from this article would be the English translation of her apology. It would be a great piece for excercise to back-translate into Chinese without reading her original Chinese text, to see how close you can get.
To translation agencies: this is a valuable piece of test translation material that you guys can grab now for future use when trying to recruit freelance translators. To assess someone's ability in rendering contemporary Chinese as it is being used live, this piece would be more accurate than say, the Gettysburg speech!
