龙的形象用得多，有庸俗化倾向。虽然龙的概念非常硬朗，但它有王权、皇族的特征，而且由于中西方意象差异大，西方人眼中的龙和我们所引以自豪的情感寄托是不相吻合的，容易产生误解。
“虽然龙的概念非常硬朗，但它有王权、皇族的特征”，这才是龙落选的主要原因。为什么你不提前半句最关键的理由，而只提后半句？那不是做学问的严肃态度。找论据，要分清主次，不要各取所需，不能只取对自己有利的论据，无视对自己不利的论据。

学过初中物理的人都知道，永动机违反能力守恒定律，是不可能实现的。尽管如此，中国大陆竟有“近百人申请发明过895种永动机”！即使有“近百人申请发明过895种永动机”，也不等于永动机就是可行的！据我所知，不但有不少人向中国的国家知识产权局申请过“永动机”的专利，而且还有不少中国人向美国专利商标局申请过永动机专利。
什么叫做“中国有效专利”？俗话说，是骡子是马，牵出来遛遛就知道了。你说你发明的是永动机，你就造一个实际模型出来，让人们看看它是否不需要输入任何能量就能实现永动。如果能，那才叫“有效专利”。
当然，若说这种“专利”一点儿都没效，也不确切。在中国大陆的学术环境里，最起码那些“永动机发明者”可籍此钓名沽誉，混一个什么“教授”、“高级工程师”之类的头衔，甚至什么“教授级高级工程师”、“高工级教授”之类的头衔！至于他们的“永动机”是否真的不需要输入任何能量就能永动，那倒是无所谓的。
