About half as many requests Dec 9, 2024

I used to get about one serious request through ProZ a month, resulting in an actual job. Now I got five in one year (and perhaps a sixth, just received an email from a small-scale medical translation agency)

More than half Dec 9, 2024

So far in 2024 I have received four requests from new clients through Proz.com that have resulted in projects, which is more than half of what I used to receive. Fortunately, almost all the other clients I've received through Proz.com have become repeat customers.

Definitely yes Dec 9, 2024

Significantly lower. But the number of requests by direct clients has increased.

Second time around on Proz.com Dec 9, 2024

Back in 2011, I received a serious inquiry by phone and then by email from Proz.com, which resulted in a 3-week software testing engagement in San Jose, California.

I returned to Proz.com last June, 2024. I've taken every opportunity to quote on suitable projects. I did get email acknowledgements but nothing else.

The barrel is pretty dry these days.

No point Dec 10, 2024

I never received actual jobs through Proz so when I started out on pension, I stopped being a paying member so no point in choosing any of the choices. But some of my regular clients seem to be fine with me.
