Confirmation of Date and Place Mar 5, 2007

So as of yet, the date still has to be decided, and in response to Larissa's question- so does the place. Would everyone prefer to meet downtown, or is there a place within the surrounding area that may be more convenient for everyone? Let me know.
Regards,
JP

Place and date Mar 5, 2007

You're right: Mother's Day probably not the best idea. As far as place goes, I live on east side, but have no problem going downtown.

Confirmation of Date and Place Mar 8, 2007

How would May 26th work for everyone? It looks like that might be the best one.
And thank-you Yuri for suggesting the location. Keep us posted on the availability of it, and in the meantime, I'll try to pick a few other possible places in case for whatever reason the rooftop patio that you mentioned is not available.

Decisions Mar 11, 2007

John-Paul, if you let too many people suggest too many things, you will be in trouble. You are the organizer, hence you should propose the venue and date. Anyone who is truly interested will make the necessary arrangements to participate because a powwow does not happen every week. The only thing you should keep in mind is to select a location that is easily accessible by both public transit and private transportation.

Response to Sue re modest lodgings May 16, 2007

Hi Sue,
Your best bet for modest lodgings are motels on the approaches to Toronto, as downtown hotels are more expensive. You could try the youth hostels (which are close the event), but book in advance.

Tomorrow's Powwow May 25, 2007

Hello everyone!
I look forward to meeting you all tomorrow.
Those of you who will be there who have not had your identities verified for proz will have the opportunity to do so at the powwow if interested as I take attendance. You will have to show me a piece of photo I.D. containing the name that matches the name on your profile.
See you tomorrow!
Regards,
John-Paul
