ProZ.com powwow: Current state of prof. translation

I wanted to propose a Powwow to discuss the current state of professional translation. With free tools like Google Translate and companies using Crowdsourcing (non-professional translators working for free), we, professional translators, need to find ways to set us apart from all that.
I was also thinking that the best time to have the powwow is before the really bad weather hits us.
Edit: Since the 27th is Thanksgiving weekend, I moved the date one week forward. Sorry for the confusion.
As for now, 12/04 as the designated event date, I have a commitment scheduled, so can't attend. Would love to attend Chicago's based meeting next time.
Excellent idea but unfortunately I'll be in San Francisco on this (new) date. Keep me advised - if you have to move the date again, 12-2 would be pefect.
The time is not yet confirm. There are two tentative times: 6-8 and 7-9. I'd appreciate if all people that will attend post here which would be better. Also, Camille and I were wondering about the refreshments. The Powwow will take place at 'Dígame Language Instruction' so maybe we could have something delivered if anyone wants to eat. I've never attended a Powwow, so any ideas are welcome.

Erkan has offered to bring some beverages and cups (thanks!) and I can bring some chips and plates. If anybody wants to bring something, feel free to do so but let me know or post it here so we won't have too much of the same thing. Also, there are only 5 confirmations, if you're planning to join us tonight, please confirm your attendance so we can have an idea of how many people to expect.
