Dear Sirs,
I am a
professional Arabic-speaking translator /interpreter with a BA in the English
language and its literature from Sudan, a Post-graduate Diploma in Translation
Studies from South Africa, accreditation as a legal translator/interpreter in
UAE courts and an 18 years experience in the field of translation/interpreting
as well as journalistic writing. My career covers working with NGOs in East
Africa, the Southern African region and the Arab GCC countries (mainly in
education and humanitarian work). I have so far done interpreting/translation
projects at conferences throughout the African continent, the GCC region and
Asia for prestigious institutions such as Al-Jazeera Media Network, the
Pan-African Parliament, and the International Telecommunications Union (ITU),
to name but a few.
As a dedicated
professional, I am currently freelancing and offering my expert services to
clients who value quality and precision in their translations and
interpretations.
My proficiency
with major CAT tools such as Trados Studio 2022, Wordfast, XTM, MemoQ, Lingo24,
and SmarCat enables me to handle complex translation projects with ease and
precision.
