Bio

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I received most of my education including English, Performing Arts, and Biology.
Being a freelance English to Spanish translator, I made my expertise in the media field, covering not just translation (scripts, treatments, summaries, etc), but also high quality subtitles.

I work with professional subtitling software (Annotation Edit for Mac), which allows me fulfill aesthetic and linguistic standards with accuracy and attention to detail.
One of my most recent jobs was for the BAFICI 2024 (Buenos Aires Independent Film Festival), which is among the most prestigious film events in the country.
Showing samples of my work is a delicate matter since producers own the rights. I've just picked a few fragments from some of the last films I translated and subtitled which I know for a fact, have already been exhibited in an international festival. Therefore, if you think it'd be best for me to take a short test, I'm open to it.

I recently left the city of Buenos Aires and moved nearby the ocean, life is too great to just stay at one place. Some of my clients are from China, France, or USA, and that's the magic of working online.
