John Lake is an actor and playwrite who attended Oxford University, graduating with a First in German and Italian: the course was 50% language- translation into and from German and Italian, 50% literature. He has performed in plays in Rome and Berlin amongst other international locations. Whilst at Oxford, he translated In Der Strafkolonie by Kafka, and adapted it as a play.
