I am a professional and proficient translator, working from Arabic > English and specialising in legal, third sector, and business translation.

Through extensive travel experience in the Middle East and Europe, as well as being from a mixed cultural background, I have been educated in both Arabic speaking schools in the Arabian Gulf and English language schools in the United Kingdom. Therefore, I am bilingual and have mother tongue knowledge of both languages, as well as familiarity with numerous Arabic dialects.

How I Help Clients:
I am uniquely placed to help clients translate their legal and business content effectively, with cultural awareness and impact, by drawing on a strong understanding of both Middle Eastern and Western cultures.

I am a UK qualified paralegal, having studied the Legal Practice Course following my degree, and gaining extensive experience working in commercial law environments. This experience has provided me with the insight, knowledge, and terminology to understand and meet the requirements of legal and commercial clients, in relation to the standards of accuracy required in the translation of documents, as well as the level of service expected.

I have gained extensive experience in translating legal and commercial content from across the Middle East including, but not limited to, the translation of:
- Legal: Court documents, pleadings, memoranda, witness statements, court judgments, statutes and regulations, expert reports, and powers of attorney.
- Commercial: contracts, insurance documents, articles and memoranda of association, company financial reports, licensing applications and commercial leases.

Clients include international and Middle Eastern law firms, global companies, NGOs, and international organisations.

Highlights and Recent Experience:

- Translating transcriptions of interviews for the United Nations Development Fund.
- Translating a 15,000-word Court of Appeal judgment relating to a high-profile case in the United Arab Emirates.
- Translating a 17,000-word cooperative sector strategy pertaining to a Middle Eastern country.
- Translating witness statements for The International Criminal Court.

Education:
