Bio

Audio/Video Medical Interpreter

Assist healthcare providers (Nurses, RNs, NPs, PAs, Physicians …) and help Social workers sense what it is their patients need and serve them accordingly.

Help LEP patients understand what procedure they are having and what are the risks and benefits of the procedure so they can make their decisions, give permission to medical staff and sign consent form to treat and receive care.

Take part in meeting with medical staff to interpret for family members about what needs to be done for a terminally ill patient.

Bridge the cultural gap for doctors, nurses and other members of the medical field, when the LEP starts saying things that oral translation or interpretation doesn’t seem to be enough to remove the communication barrier.
