I am an Italian native speaker, I hold a UK BA degree in German and am now an established translator and a language teacher, having obtained a Master of Science in Scientific, Medical and Technical Translation with Translation Technology at Imperial College, London, (language pairs IT<>EN, ES<>EN) and a PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) Curriculum Subject: 11-18 Modern Foreign Languages, Italian, Spanish, German at the University of Sussex.

From 2005 to 2008 I worked as a translator for an independent video distributor in London, where my main duties included the translation of DVD menus, sleeves and company website from English into Italian, German and Spanish. My IT skills include all Microsoft Office Packages; CAT Tools, including SDLX, Trados, Déjà Vu, Wordfast; Internet Browsers.

I recently translated 40.000 words from English into Italian (elevator industry) two technical manuals for ThyssenKrupp.
