Spanish to English TranslatorI have been translating almost 20 years in both freelance and in-house positions, along with volunteer work for several NGOs including Global Pediatric Alliance and Sustainable Harvest. Recently coming off of over 10 years as an in-house linguist and project manager for several US-based LSPs, I have a special focus on law enforcement audio transcription and translation, along with experience in medical records and the standard fare of certificates, school records, and social services reports. I am also interested in translating documents on public policy, social issues and the humanities. I have a B.A. in Spanish and Political Science from the The College of New Jersey and studied a semester in Cuernavaca, Mexico. My prior work experience was in job development for Latinas, and later, state legislative work (press/public relations).
