Born in London and later brought up in Holland, I am near native in 2 languages.
I worked as a language teacher and translator in Venezuela for the last 15 years. In 1999, I started to develop Spanish, English and Dutch language courses. In 2001, I was involved in my first court case as an interpreter, and by now I have been an interpreter in over 100 cases.
Since 2003, I have been a full time freelance translator. Coming from the educational world I understand like no other what languages are about. I fully understand that translating isn't simply putting words from one language into another, but it should be a written interpretation of what the customer actually wants to say.
As a translator, I decided to specialise in the fields I am most interested in, which is why I only offer environmental, energy-related, technical, safety-related, and management-related translations from Dutch to English.

I refuse to make promises I cannot keep. In the unlikely event that you do not receive your translation on time, you will not receive an invoice, and the translation will be free. However, I have always received payment. I'm looking forward to working with you.
