Hello and thank you for looking at my profile. My name is Esther Hay (Banis) and I am a New Zealand based Dutch translator with a degree from what is now known as Zuyd University in Maastricht, the Netherlands. My translation career started at Voice & Script International in London in the year 2000. I was Head of the Dutch Department from 2003 to 2007. In 2007 I started working as a freelance translator in order to better combine my working life with my family life. In 2014 we emigrated to New Zealand, where I still work as a freelance translator. My passion has always been subtitling, but now that I live in NZ, I also love helping Dutch and Belgian people move forward in their immigration journey by providing certified translations of official documents.
