Gracias repartidas entre Au, por su gestión para que presentara mi libro, JL, por su genuino interés en saber más sobre la cocina de Traducciones de Contratos Tomo I y su manifiesta ansiedad por Traducciones Tomo IV, y los que vinieron a escucharme y no solo me escucharon sino que preguntaron y opinaron. Esta situación que me permitieron vivir no tiene precio.
La labor de Au fue enorme; no querría haber estado en su lugar; aunque ahora, que ya pasó, debe sentirse satisfecha por el deber bien cumplido. Un buen debut.
Entre las ponencias hubo de todo, algunas sublimes; el powwow, un derroche de gente, buen humor, comida y música con nostalgia. A pesar de que no soy muy sociable, mucha gente me abruma, lo disfruté.
Gracias a Henry, el jefe, por abrir la puerta a la presentación de libros y no solo a ponencias.

Auro... I'd love to go... but I have to go to school tomorrow... all day long! I was absent last Thursday because of the conference (I went to the hairdresser's, etc. etc.), so, if I'm absent tomorrow... I'll get into trouble. Enjoy yourselves!!!! And thank you so much for the invitation!

I´d love to, but I have recently graduated as Florence Nightingale, and tomorrow at 2:30 pm I´ll be with Rolf, our dog, who will be operated on from a tumor in his hind leg. Can´t you postpone this lunch for next week, or make arrangements for another some time now?

Todo estuvo tan fantástico que uno se quedó con ganas de más... en particular quienes, como yo, somos atávicamente glotones :)
