昨天是半价，确实是座无虚席。我的观感跟老孙差不多。

跟张爱玲的关系不太大。这篇小说我很久以前看过的，高中时没看懂，大学毕业后重温张爱玲的作品，还是没看懂。

对啦，就那么回事儿。不过，那不是张爱玲的一本书，而是一篇短篇小说改写的剧本。电影的语言工具不同于文字语言工具，所以情节当然必须新编。李安的手法其实也是老套，跟我们做翻译差不多，同样的文本让不同的翻译者翻译，只是译出意涵多少的问题而已，看的只是每个翻译者体会的细节有多深罢了。

The guy gets away after the girl alerts him of the attempt on his life; but then she gets killed in the massacre he orders after the city lockdown/blockade?
I agree you have to read between the lines to figure out the conclusion from the original story. I'm curious as to what clever device Ang Lee uses to deliver the final shock and stun the audience.

一颗硕大的钻戒。王桂芝一看到钻戒，就觉得易先生心里有她，于是全面投降。网上有评论说，这是《一颗钻戒引出来的血案》:-D

没有前面那些铺陈，那颗六克拉的钻戒不会起什么作用的。简单来看，还真可以说是《一颗钻戒引出来的血案》呢。:D 真相总是有许多 facets, like diamonds.
