最近有朋友送给我 Luchino Visconti 的老片子 The Leopard 完全版，几十年前在台湾的戒严时代里看这片子的净节版所得到的印象于是稍稍改观了。

这片子在台湾叫“气盖山河”；老实说，译名真是差劲，根本没有把 Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa 写这部小说和 Visconti 拍这部电影的用心表达出来。

My title of that post was "If only we were this lucky". In other words, I meant that the the chance of an independent getting elected would have been extremely slim.

I personally would like for a candidate running on a populist platform to win, be it Democrat or Republican.

音樂劇: 巴黎聖母院 Notre Dame de Paris.

歐洲的人才大顯神威, 顛覆舞台設計多項傳統觀念, 了不起. 一雪當年在荷里活飽受白眼之苦.

可惜我當年的法文沒有繼續學下去, 現在都還給了先生, 所以只能看字幕. 怪自己不用心讀書.

昨夜受邀参加首映会，观赏这部拍了十五年、做成八十分钟的半纪录影片。

Wikipedia 里说是 documentary，但其实并非忠实的纪录片，而是拍摄北极熊和海象生态纪录，加入制作者的观点，剪接成故事影片。说的是受到全球暖化的影响，北极圈内的生物到 2040 年可能就要无家可归。不过，这也不完全是故事的内容，因为影片中所表达的“生命的庄严”可能需要一点慧眼才稍能看见。

台湾的海军军购拉法叶舰案，从尹清枫上校的命案拉起序幕，看来和这部戏相似。牵涉到操控钜大利益的权力，谁敢揭露就要谁的命。拍戏可以，真实生活里最好对那些狗皮倒灶事完全不知。
