However, I noticed that when using glossaries in DeepL, terms are recognized but in MemoQ they are translated including some double quotation marks in the target.
For example, if in my glossary I have Schraubenzieher (DE) and screwdriver (EN), the output in MemoQ looks like this
Ich habe einen Schraubenzieher --> I have a "screwdriver"
Did you notice the same? Might it be related to the update?
We are experiencing the same issues, with the added problem (in English > Spanish) that the plugin does not take glossary terms into account. They are ignored at random, when they are not ignored if you use the Deepl app interactively with the same glossary.

Personally, this design of having to maintain a TXT file with the glossary and having to upload it many times a day is not a very clever approach. Custom.MT have a much better design: they let you use Deepl choosing the glossary which you maintain in Deepl itself. Change a term in the Deepl app... and it is changed in your MT proposals in memoQ too. If Custom.MT did not have a separate charge, I think I would scrap the Deepl plugin altogether in its current development state. ▲ Collapse

Thank you! Is the issue with double quotation marks new?

Hi,
thanks a lot for your feedback!
But did you have the issue with the double quotation marks before? Or did it start happening after the latest update?
Cristina

No problem in EN>PL

I didn't notice any problem with EN>PL language pair and DeepL after updating to memoQ 11 (following the DeepL plug-in problem)

Not even with glossaries?
Aug 8
Dear Piotr,
thanks a lot for your feedback!
Did you test it with glossaries?
I use MemoQ 10.2.27 (fix included) and every term from the glossary is recognized, translated as per glossary, but with the addition of double quotation marks.
Very strange
Cristina
