Off topic: Why do the Bugs and Suggestions forums... Thread poster: Cilian O'Tuama

Why do the Bugs and Suggestions forums not appear on the front page?
This thread won't either.

I noticed this as well when I reported a bug. How are you supposed to discuss bugs or suggestions if you don't see such posts? I don't think that everyone here checks the "Recent translation forum posts" link every day...
But then again we're informed about every new Premium website (which is of no interest at all to me)

I was expecting some gripe about whether or not your Moths thread should be in the Bugs category.

No, that doesn't help.
As I mentioned in a previous similar thread, both the "Suggestions" and "Bugs" forums are already ticked in my settings and have been for years.
I was just asking why they don't appear on the front page any more?
And why remove a "Bugs" query from the "Bugs" forum? To distract attention perhaps?
I doubt many users/members have ticked "Technical support" as a favourite forum to appear on their customised front page. ... See more No, that doesn't help.

Or why have a "Bugs" forum in the first place?

And it's still not possible to uncheck certain forums, such as the Premium: Website community forum or any Premium forum. Why do they pop up? Non-Premium members are no allowed to see them (and are most likely not interested in seeing them). So it might be a good solution to be able to uncheck them (as suggested in another thread).

What about the problems with the homepage, I would suggest submitting support requests (besides discussing the problem in the forum) as this would help to attract the attention of the site developers to existing issues.

Does not work either.

IMHO, it would be much more effective, time and energy saving if the developers would subscribe to the Bug and Suggestion forums.

I'd have assumed that "developers" check such forums.
