Japanese term

IP商品

Japanese to English Tech/Engineering IT (Information Technology)
I am translating an IR piece for a video game company. The term IP商品 is used in the following way:
海外有力IPの取得
IPタイトル
他社IP商品
I'm wondering if this IP means intellectual property or internet protocol.
I found the following site about IP商品:
http://detail.chiebukuro.yahoo.co.jp/qa/question_detail/q101...
This site leads me to think that IP商品 could be translated as internet protocol products, but does this make any sense in English? I am having some doubts.

IP / intellectual property

As an avid gamer, I come across this use of IP quite often.
I'm going to hazard a guess and say that this game is part of a series.
The explanation in the link you gave doesn't really fit with games. Although that could depend on context....possibly.
Going by the other examples you gave, I think it's most likely intellectual property. Leaving it as IP should be fine.
Something went wrong...
