I am English and Russian to Polish translator with a master's degree in literary translation and a passionate bibliophile. My affair with literary translation began at a young age when I had just discovered the Harry Potter series. Each book provided a chapter written by the Polish translator that explained the creative origins of all his decisions. It opened my eyes to the magical powers that lay in the hands of translators and made me realize my destiny to become a Wizard of Words too.
