After my Bachelor's of Fine Arts in creative writing, I studied for a Master's of Fine Arts in literary translation when I realized how much I loved languages and wanted to share the books I was discovering with English-language readers. My MFA thesis was a collection of poems by the Francophone Moroccan poet Mostafa Nissabouri, some of which are forthcoming in an anthology from Otis Books. edited by Guy Bennett. I love the puzzle of translating poetry but am equally excited about prose.
