Source text - Spanish En la figura 1 se muestra el conjunto de etapas que se han dispuesto para el procesamiento de la imagen correspondiente a la mamografía.
1° Etapa: correspondiente al preprocesamiento de la imagen; dicha etapa comienza con la obtención de la imagen, y entrega a la etapa siguiente una imagen que contiene únicamente el área de interés.
2° Etapa: corresponde a la clasificación de la imagen para determinar si la misma posee o no lesiones maligna que deban ser estudiadas en profundidad por especialistas.
3° Etapa: sí el clasificador determina que la imagen contiene lesiones maligna se búscan dichas regiones sospechosas.
4° Etapa: generación de un informe sobre el procesamiento de la mamografía.
