Source text - English Ensure a minimum ceiling void depth of 150 mm is available.
Cut the 65 mm diameter mounting holes in the ceiling taking care not to foul any pipes, cables or joists beneath the surface.
Attach spring clips to the body of the recessed unit by squeezing the sides together and locating the spring clips over the two metal tabs.
Draw the transformer cable through the recessed down light unit and connect the halogen bulb (Caution: Do not use any other type of bulb)
Fasten the bulb with provided circlip.
Point the spring clips upwards and fit the two longer arms into the ceiling hole.
Push the unit upward until firmly in position, ensuring that the cable is not trapped and keeping away the internal wire from the light bulb surface.
Important. Always switch off the electricity supply at the mains during installation and maintenance.

Source text - English The main causes of freshwater pollution are domestic and industrial wastewater discharges and agricultural activities. The former two are usually described as point source of pollution whereas the latter falls under the category of non-point (diffuse) source of pollution.
B.... lists four types of pollution:
- Physical (caused by solids such as suspended particles)
- Chemical (caused by inorganic or organic particles that are soluble or colloidal and cannot be separated from water by a physical process)
- Biological (results from organic matter, also from introduction of alien species or invasive species, pathogens)
- Physiological (colour, odour, taste or turbidity caused by colloidal solids)
Discharges with high organic material concentrations, especially industrial effluents with high bio-chemical oxygen demand (BOD), causes the oxygen to be used up during the decomposition of organic material which leads to a low level of dissolved oxygen or even anaerobic conditions. This can be vital in water systems as clean cold water holds only about 12 mg/l oxygen. Suspended matter, clogs fish gills, covers plants and invertebrates by settling and affects light penetration which is a particular problem for macrophytes.
