Bio
About me
I hold an Associate Degree in Mechanics (Shahid Rejaee Universty of Tehran), B.A in Translation Studies (Chabahar Maritime University), and M.A in TEFL (Shiraz University). My native language is Persian (Farsi). I have started my professional career as a translator since 2003. In fact, to me translation is like solving a jigsaw puzzle; every single word rendered gives me the pleasure of solving a puzzle. As I’m teaching many (ESP) courses in different fields (e.g. Law, Administration, Psychology, Theology, Accounting, Computer, and Translation) in university I had the chance to get familiar with technical terms and their nuances for various subjects. In my free time, I read books, short stories, novels, and works of Persian great literature which is of great help in my translation career.
I have some experience in writing in both Persian and English, in addition to my individual style in writing some literary pieces in Persian that benefited me a lot in translation whose outcome is a very smooth, intelligible, fluent, elegant language with no trance of translation left. What’s more, I meticulously care about reliability, originality, precision, faithfulness, fidelity, and, most important of all, timekeeping and speed in translation projects I take, to the extent that some of my friends and colleagues call me quick translator.
Besides to my teaching career as a university lecturer, at the moment I am working as a Quality Translator and Freelancer for Hafez Translation Centre, Oxford Translation Bureau, Timasearch Company, and many other clients.
I’m rather flexible about pricing and my rates are by and large negotiable.
I’m always standing with you online to help you with your translation works.
