Bio

I'm a Spanish/English to Portuguese translator and interpreter, specialized in legal translation (Court sentences, criminal procedures, migration issues etc.), Court interpreting, marketing, Medical context (community interpreting or conference interpreting), educational  and coffee area (farming production, machinery, commerce). I also transcribe audios and videos in the mentioned languages. 

I have a long experience translating general topics, as I have worked as the head of translation in a University, translating and interpreting for events (Conference interpreting), for Law School, Medical School, Doctorate programs, and Institutional demands. I also taught translation and interpreting in the same University, for 15 years, from 2004 until 2019, in Undergraduate and Postgraduation level. 

Besides this, I have been a Court interpreter at State Criminal Court in São Paulo since 2006. I work in the pairs English - Portuguese or Spanish - Portuguese. 

Also for the public sector, I translate for the National Judiciary Counsel (CJF), since 2020, from English to Portuguese or vice-versa. 

I'm a voluntary interpreter and interpreter's tutor at CONARE - the National Counsel for Refuge, a part of the Ministry of Justice dealing with asylum seekíng.
