We inject our faces with botulism, cut ourselves up in plastic surgeons’ offices, and we’ll try just about anything if it promises to restore our youth, and it’s no wonder why. As the human body ages, our skin sags and we lose our senses of sight, smell, and hearing. Body fat migrates south. Our muscles shrink. Our bones get smaller, and we actually get shorter.
