After passing my A-level with a major in social studies and economy, I worked as an “Au Pair” in the US (Maryland) for one year, and then studied Chinese language at home for one year. In 1997, I enrolled at the Bordeaux 3 University (France) and studied English and Chinese language and culture. After passing my Master’s degree in 2001, I got a scholarship from the French Foreign Affairs Ministry and left for Beijing, where I studied Chinese language and culture for two years at Normal Capital University and University of International Business & Economy.
In June 2003, I got a job in a film rights company located in Beijing; I was in charge of translation and contract negotiation, as well as the organisation of events. After four years, I decided to concentrate on translation and started to be a full-time freelancer. From 2008 to 2013, I also did some freelance work in the event business, organising film festivals and other cultural or commercial projects; the team was always trilingual in English, French and Chinese. In July 2014, I moved back to France.
Since 2018, I started specialising in webtoon and manhua translation. I already translated several webtoon series published on the Izneo platform in different genres (shojo, yuri, science fiction, yaoi, adventure).
