Source text - English Europass – the innovative single European framework for the transparency of qualifications and competences – is to be launched in Luxembourg from 31st January to 1st February 2005 by the Directorate General for Education and Culture of the European Commission together with the Luxembourg Presidency of the EU. Europass is a dynamic and interactive new tool designed to facilitate employment and mobility across Europe through a better communication of people’s skills, experience and abilities.
Heading the bill at the Europass launch conference in Luxembourg are the new European Commissioner for Education, Training, Culture and Multilingualism – Ján Figel’ – along with Luxembourg Minister for Education and Vocational Training, Mady Delvaux-Stehres.
What is Europass?
The Europass framework includes five existing European transparency documents that share a number of common features. They all boast one same purpose of helping people in communicating their qualifications and competences, and have all been established at European level. The backbone is the Europass CV, which is a slightly modified version of the already popular common European CV format. The four further instruments support the CV detailing specific competences or describing learning experiences. Integration into Europass will make these vital instruments better known, easier to access and ultimately more effective.
Translation - Czech Soubor nástrojů Europass, inovativní jednotný evropský rámec pro průhlednost v oblasti kvalifikací a schopností, má být uveden do chodu ve dnech 31. března a 1. února 2005 v Lucembursku generálním ředitelstvím Evropské komise pro vzdělávání a kulturu společně s lucemburským předsednictvím Evropské unie. Europass je nový dynamický a interaktivní nástroj, který má prostřednictvím lepího sdělování dovedností, zkueností a schopností lidí v rámci Evropy usnadňovat získávání práce a zvyovat mobilitu.
Hlavní slovo na zahajovací konferenci nástroje Europass v Lucembursku budou mít pan Ján Figel, nový komisař pro vzdělávání, odbornou přípravu a kulturu, a paní Mady Delvaux-Stehres, lucemburská ministryně pro kolství a odborné vzdělávání.
Co je to Europass?
Rámec Europass zahrnuje pět stávajících evropských dokumentů, které sdílejí mnoho společných rysů. Vechny mají za cíl pomáhat lidem ve sdělování jejích kvalifikace a schopností, a byly zavedeny na úrovni celé Evropské unie. Jádrem souboru je Europass - ivotopis, který je mírně upravenou verzí oblíbeného společného evropského vzoru ivotopisu. Čtyři dalí nástroje ivotopis doplňují a obsahují podrobnosti o konkrétních schopnostech nebo dosaeném vzdělání. Po začlenění do souboru Europass budou tyto nástroje známějí, snadněji přístupné a předevím efektivnějí.
