I’ve been translating for leading French brands, companies and organisations since 1997, working with agencies and direct clients. 

My current subject areas include skincare and fragrance, fashion, the arts and culture, and food and drink. I also translate regularly for a major energy group. I’ve worked in a wide range of fields over the years and welcome the opportunity to explore new topics (if a text doesn’t feel right for me I’ll try to recommend a colleague). 

From corporate newsletters to cultural festival programmes, coffee table books to snappy Instagram posts, I enjoy writing in a variety of styles to suit the target audience. I can team up with trusted colleagues for larger projects or when a second pair of eyes is needed for additional editing or proofreading.

Away from my desk, I’m a keen swing dancer and am closely involved in the local dancing community. I teach, host events and DJ for dancers, and have made a few podcasts sharing my love of swing jazz and the history and culture around it.

I love everything related to the arts and culture and get to exhibitions and galleries as often as possible. In the past couple of years I’ve started drawing and painting – it’s never too late! To escape the city, we go camping in our beloved bell tent for some peaceful walking and sketching, and I try to remember all the wildlife and fungi facts my partner tells me.
