Bio

I have worked as a translator for over 40 years and have first-hand experience in engineering, cranes, marketing, technical documentation, quality management.

I offer high-quality translations in these fields and have a range of customers in the automotive and engineering fields but also work for many advertising agencies and studios, TV companies etc. I have worked with CAT tools since 1999 and use Transit mainly, but also have Trados Studio. I have Windows 11 Professional but also have an iMac Pro. I do not participate in jobs that are split across several translators because - even with modern CAT technology - the quality suffers. My prices are average for the market, my turn-around times good to average and my quality very good to excellent.

I research every job to ensure use of the latest terminology in the field and always check references to DIN, ISO and other standards to ensure authenticity.
