Abakus-tekst as a company was founded by Andreas Hartmann in february 2005, but its history goes back to the early 1990ies. In 1990 Andreas Hartmann accepted the challenging task to lead a danish language institute and turn it around from its way into certain economical collapse. One idea was to add a translation-branch to the company.
Ten years later, the now prosperous company had gathered loads of experience in how to handle translation-tasks, software, translation memory-systems and last but not least translators and customers.
In january 2005, Andreas Hartmann used the option of selling that company, which opened the opportunity to focus on translation alone, by establishing a new company - Abakus-tekst.
Old and new staff of freelance translators, administrators and projectleaders now work for the growth of a strong translationcompany, that offers high-quality translations for fair prices and wages. Our aim is to satisfy our customers, to keep good relations to the translators and a positive atmosphere for everybody involved in creating these optimal results. |
