Mar 18, 2009	RNAtranslator	Great medical dictionary. You will not find easy terms there; only false friends and terms with difficult translation with an excelent accuracy. It is also a great help to avoid using unnecesary anglicisms.	5

The inclusion of more terms related to the United States health system is specially useful. Any user of this dictionary will also enjoy the glossaries included in the web site of Tremedica(http://medtrad.org/terminologia.html)and its magazine Panacea. Please consider that Mr. Navarro has a critical view of most linguistic calques (e.g. hospice-hospicio).	5

Nov 4, 2010	Gerard Burns Jr.	No one ought to ever think of doing English to Spanish medical translation without this dictionary. It is not intended to cover all medical vocabulary, but instead concentrates on the terms that are most often poorly translated or completely misunderstood. When I got the second edition, I donated the first edition to a medical school. This dictionary is too valuable a resource to think of letting it go to waste. Unfortunately, it is solely for translation _into_ Spanish, and has no index of terms in Spanish. I am sure that Dr. Navarro refrained from including such an index from fear that some hapless translator would unwisely use some of the less recommendable English terms rather than the ones they ought to, but I still find myself 'reverse engineering' my work into English just to see what Dr. Navarro has to say about some of the difficult cases.	5
