Italian Transcription Quality Reviewer

The Language Doctors, Inc. is a leading provider of high-quality language services, specializing in medical and life sciences content. We are committed to excellence and seek passionate individuals to join our full-time remote team as an Italian Quality Transcription Reviewer.

Role Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Italian Quality Transcription Reviewer to ensure the accuracy and consistency of our written transcriptions. The role focuses on medical and life sciences content, requiring a deep understanding of quality management principles and medical terminology.

Key Responsibilities

-Review transcribed Italian MS Word files to ensure the highest standards of text accuracy
-Identify and correct spelling, punctuation, grammar, and style errors
-Adhere to the source document format to maintain alignment with formatting standards
-Maintain detailed records of quality reviews and share insights with stakeholders
-Identify areas for improvement and propose effective solutions to enhance the quality
-Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and new developments
-Work closely with team members to address challenges and implement process improvements

Qualifications

-Associate degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field, or a Certificate in Translation or Interpretation.
-Strong command of both written and verbal Italian and English languages.
-Proficiency in Office 365; familiarity with CAT tools is a plus.
-Prior experience in the medical and life sciences fields is preferred.
-Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
-Excellent communication and time management skills
