Participating on tender CLEISS with Swiss Solutions

Autumn is approaching, so everyone is gearing up, and new challenges are on the way.

Today, I’m reaching out with an interesting new tender that we want to participate in together. It’s with CLEISS (Centre of European and International Liaisons for Social Security – the body that facilitates communication between French social security institutions and their counterparts in other countries. It plays a crucial role in implementing European regulations related to social security.)

The lot we would like to participate in with you is for the French to Ukrainian language combination.
The documentation must be submitted by September 5, so time is short, and we need to act quickly.

To participate, I need to receive the following from you:
A simple CV in French
The CV doesn’t need to be very detailed, but it must include the following information.
 Full name
 Education details
 Information about experience in years and/or volume the field of translation (translation, proofreading, MTPE)
 The language combinations offered
 Confirmation of experience in the required fields: legal, administrative, social security, fiscal, personal documents (medical and marketing experience would be a plus)
 Native language + proficiency in each foreign language
 Country of residence

References
 The most important here are recommendation letters, as many as possible, confirming experience in the key fields they need, as mentioned above and below.
 Relevant diplomas and certificates (language proficiency, relevant university studies, translator authorization, etc.)
 Contact details from clients who can provide additional references
 Publications, online feedback, or any other references related to your work
 Screenshots from Proz, Linkedin recommendations
 I’d like to mention that the recommendation letters are the most important, but the other documents will greatly help us achieve a higher score. So, anything we have is welcome.

Other details:
 If we win the contract, it will start on January 2, 2025, and will be valid for 1 year, with the possibility of a 3-year extension.
 At least two contractors will be selected for each lot, with projects being rotated between them initially, until they determine which contractor is most feasible.
 Requests may include written translations, revisions, post-editing, and research projects to build glossaries and terminology lists.
 The translations will cover fields such as administrative, fiscal, legal, personal identity documents, medical, brochures, and marketing.
