Asset management is the management of a client's investments by a financial services company. The company (usually an investment bank) will invest on behalf of its clients and give them access to a wide range of traditional and alternative products that would not be to the average investor. Here is the interesting part: all this management produces a lot of documentation (factsheets, prospectuses, reports, press realeases, website content...) that must be delivered to the clients in their own language (it is mandatory for factsheets and prospectuses). This kind of translations are ordered by high-paying and reliable clients and they tend to be large projects.

Hello Terjumaan,
Thank you for your interest in the training. We do not plan any reruns of this session in the near future but you may register for this session and get unlimited access to the video and handouts even if you do not attend it live. A certificate of attendance will be issued for you as well. After the session you can always contact the trainer directly and ask any questions you may have.
Please do not hesitate to submit a support request if you have any doubts, http://www.proz.com/support Thanks!

"Images of samples of common documents highlighting common terminology would have been very helpful. ..." Read moreThe text across the slides was very inconsistent (visually). A uniform presentation makes it easier to read/identify so the focus can be more on the content. There was a bit on inconsistency with some terms (e.g. "fixed assets" was translated one way in one of the first slides, then differently toward the end).
This qualifies more as a presentation than a course. I don't think it would be ethical to claim proficiency in the field by presenting/listing the certificate in a resume or CV, i.e., it would be misleading. Also, I don't think the title is appropriate for listing in a resume or CV."
