I set up as a freelance translator in 1992, since when I have undertaken translations for a number of direct clients, including two major international transport (maritime) groups in Europe, Far East and South America, and various translation agencies.

I can also offer a reliable proof-reading service.

27 years residing in Uruguay (current location Montevideo) and fluent in South American Spanish.

Microsoft User Specialist in Word, Excel (advance level), Access and PowerPoint.


My main areas of expertise are: shipping and chartering, accounting, private banking, and large translation project management, but I am happy to consider translating other texts subject to sight of the source document(s).
