In 2005, I completed my degree in Translation at the School of Applied Linguistics and Cultural Studies of the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz. During my studies I was part of several software and website localization projects. In addition, I translated financial texts. These fields still are my main areas of expertise, but I also have a strong background in biology and yachting, as well as some experience in translating psychological texts.
