I am a native English speaker with a Postgraduate Diploma in Translation Studies from the University of Portsmouth and a Bachelor's degree with honours in French and Italian studies from the University of Reading. During my Bachelor's degree, I spent 6 months living in France and 6 months living in Italy via the Erasmus exchange scheme. Academically and culturally speaking, I have an excellent understanding of both languages.

I am a passionate advocate for effective, high-quality and customer-driven translation with a human touch so that clients and end users receive the best service possible.

Before embarking on a freelance translation career, I spent a year working as a volunteer translator for NGOs and a further 7 months translating in house for one of the world's leading companies in language, localisation and technology services. My in-house experience has equipped me with a strong knowledge of various client expectations and requirements, quality control and delivering projects in line with deadlines.
