A native French speaker with 10 years of translation experience in Paris, Beijing and New York, my specialties include marketing and editorial content, tourism, journalism and politics.
I am a very creative person, and I believe that there's more to a translation than just the text.
Having produced and translated a lot of media and marketing content, I'm especially sensitive to the way people from different cultures, different backgrounds, different social groups, will receive the same information and I always make sure to convey not only the content of your message, but also the intent, the feeling it aims to produce in order to achieve similar results in both source and target audiences.
Musicality and rhythm also play an important role whether the text is meant to be read aloud or not, so I like to read my translations aloud to make sure they flow and that they are pleasant to hear.
Translation is also a teamwork. I'm happy to work hand in hand with reviewers, project managers and end clients to achieve the best possible result.
