Towers Perrin has a strong relationship with Eagle and has performed many actual projects for the company. However, the client has never worked with the Tillinghast practice, and has not previously asked Towers Perrin for any risk management support.
Several weeks ago, a consultant who had just finished an actuarial project at Eagle mentioned to the Tillinghast Senior Consultant that Eagle’s senior management was concerned about risk management. The Senior Consultant called on a Vice President at Eagle with whom Towers Perrin has a strong relationship and requested a meeting to learn more about Eagle’s approach to risk management and present Tillinghast’s Risk Management Framework.
The Vice President agreed to the meeting, which is taking place today at Eagle’s headquarters.
