Further development of the Sulla. A gas valve is built into the tripod holder to accommodate the supply of nitrous oxide when there is a lack of oxygen. Welded-on support arms sustain the various machine components.

The most successful anesthesia machine from Dräger. The machine features the so-called “Ratzeburg” system design – a standard grid spacing system that allows a modular combination of all the machine’s different parts, just like Lego.

For the first time, the levels of oxygen and nitrous oxide can be controlled directly through flow-meter tubes (rotameters) instead of manometers. The quick-change plug-in system is ideal from a hygiene point of view and replaces the previous screw system.

First locker model from Dräger with the Pulmonat ventilation component and the Dräger anesthesia meter. “Romulus” establishes the tradition of giving Roman names to Dräger anesthesia machines. The twin model Remus was specially developed for the export market as a table model.

Hello. I started working as a freelance translator in June 2007. Later that year, I completed an MA in Advanced Language Skills in the National University of Ireland, Galway. The main focus of this degree was translation, mainly from German into English but also including some English into German. My specialities are listed above. I am interested in translating all text types though and would love to hear from agencies who need material to be translated, no matter how big or small the project.
