Bio

I have been working full-time as a freelance translator since 1991. I have a master’s degree in Translation Studies (Amsterdam), mostly focused on translating from French into Dutch. However, I gathered most of my working experience by translating from English into Dutch.

Most of the subject matter is IT related: this includes all sorts of documentation for both hardware and software, e-learning courses, websites etc.

The last few years I'm gaining more experience in the field of tourism/the travel business, translating for hotel chains and some tourist offices and campgrounds.

Besides translating, I enjoy adapting Nl-Be texts into NL-Nl, and copy-editing Nl texts.

I very, very rarely miss a deadline and I keep my promises.
Consistency, meeting deadlines and adherence to client specific guidelines are very high on my priority list.
