At the beginning of the New Year, I am honored to declare that the “Philips on-line forum”, an important communication platform for all of us, is put into use officially today! For a long time, we have been encouraging an open and interactive approach for our communication; we need the dedicated input of all to participate. The Philips management would always like to hear from all associates to know what is on their minds, and the employees also have something to say, and to share. “On-line forum” just serves this needs, it is a great tool and great platform. All of us should make the most use of it.
In September 2007, Philips announced an exciting global initiative “Vision 2010” which established a blueprint for the overall corporate strategy and business deployment from now to 2010, this new initiative received wide attention from the industry. We believe this is also the hot topic of each one of you, therefore, in this wave of on-line forum; I would like to interact closely with our associates with regard to “Vision 2010”.
This wave of forum is scheduled to be on January 7th , 8th, and 9th. Let’s share ideas, and your contribution will be valuable to us……I will keep a close eye to address your questions; in addition, I will actively take part in your discussion. In the end, I will select three most involved staff from the on-line forum; they will receive the “Most honored discussion award” distinction.
I strongly believed that the future of Philips needs the effort of all of us, I am looking forward to your voice!
