The Parties shall make every effort to resolve amicably by direct informal negotiation any disagreement or dispute arising between them out of or in connection with this Agreement.
If the Parties have been unable to resolve any disagreement or dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement amicably, including any question regarding its existence or validity, any Party may by notice in writing to the other Party require that the disagreement or dispute be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration under the Rules of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Dubai (the "Rules") which are deemed to be incorporated by reference into this clause, save that:
- the tribunal shall consist of three arbitrators. Each of the First Party and the Second Party will appoint one arbitrator and both appointed arbitrators will appoint a third independent arbitrator. If the two appointed arbitrators fail to appoint the third arbitrator within seven days of their appointment, the third arbitrator shall be appointed by the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and
- the place of arbitration shall be the Emirate of Dubai and the language of the arbitration shall be English.

يلتزم الطرفان ببذل قصارى جهودهما لحل أي خلاف أو نزاع ينشأ بينهما نتيجة لهذا العقد أو فيما يتعلق به بشكل ودي عن طريق التفاوض المباشر غير الرسمي.
إذا لم يستطع الطرفان حل أي خلاف أو نزاع ينشأ بينهما نتيجة لهذا العقد أو فيما يتعلق به بشكل ودي، بما في ذلك أية قضية تخص وجوده وصلاحيته، يحق لأي طرف أن يطلب بموجب إشعار خطي يوجهه إلى الطرف الآخر تحويل الخلاف أو النزاع وحله في النهاية عن طريق التحكيم بموجب قواعد غرفة تجارة وصناعة دبي ("القواعد") التي تعتبر بالإشارة إليها جزءاً من هذه الفقرة، باستثناء ما يلي:
- تتألف هيئة التحكيم من ثلاثة محكمين، يعين كل من الطرفين الأول والثاني محكماً واحداً ويقوم المحكمان المعينان بتعيين محكم ثالث مستقل. وإذا أخفق المحكمان المعينان في تعيين المحكم الثالث خلال سبعة أيام من تاريخ تعيينهما، يتم تعيين المحكم الثالث من قبل رئيس غرفة تجارة وصناعة دبي.
- مكان إجراء التحكيم هو إمارة دبي ولغة التحكيم هي اللغة الإنكليزية.

When my wife told me she was pregnant, I got that stomach-churning sensation that hits you on a plunging roller coaster. I was excited, yes, but... oh my God. Parenting was for, well, parents.
So here I stand, bug-eyed and sweating buckets like some poorly-drawn cartoon character, the question marks floating in the air around my head while I try to prepare myself for the complete care and responsibility of another living being besides my cat. I'm responsible for making sure this little human doesn't grow up and turn into a complete monster. If the child turns out a social moron-- my fault. If the babe can't find Luxembourg on the map, blame me for not providing a better education. They'll need therapy, and of course that will be on my head too. So many opportunities for wrong turns!
I remember the day my father sat me down and awkwardly told me about the birds and the bees; it was perhaps the most excruciating and embarrassing half hour of both our lives. I can't do that to another human being.
Maybe I'm getting a little ahead of myself here. I can do this, I say; I'll be a great father. My child will be reared a well-rounded, educated, upstanding citizen of the world, and he or she won't hate me.
And then I imagine the baby, still safe within the confines of my wife's belly, suddenly opening an alarmed eye as the thought enters his or her mind: "What if my dad just can't hack it? | Translation - Arabic
عندما زفت لي زوجتي خبر حملها انتابني ذلك الإحساس بالخوف الذي ينتاب المرء عندما تهوي به الأفعوانية نزولاً. لقد شعرت بالنشوة، نعم، ولكن .. يا إلهي! فتربية الأطفال مسؤولية الآباء.
ها أنا ذا شاخص العينين، أتصبب عرقاً مثل شخصية كرتونية لم يحسن الرسام رسمها، تحوم علامات الاستفهام من حولي وأنا أحاول الاستعداد لتحمل مسؤولية العناية الكاملة بكائن حي آخر غير قطتي. فأنا المسؤول عن ضمان ألا يكبر هذا الآدمي الصغير ليصبح شراً مستطيراً، وهي غلطتي إن لم يحسن التصرف اجتماعياً، و سيكون الذنب ذنبي إن لم يعرف مكان لوكسمبورج على الخريطة لأنني لم أوفر له تعليماً أفضل. كما أنه سيحتاج للعلاج وتلك أيضاً مسؤولية أخرى تقع على كاهلي، من الواضح أن احتمالات الخطأ كبيرة جداً!
أذكر اليوم الذي أجلسني فيه أبي وأخبرني بارتباك كيف يتكاثر بنو البشر؛ لعلها كانت أكثر نصف ساعة عذاباً وإرباكاً في حياتينا كلينا، ولا أستطيع فعل ذلك بشخص آخر.
ربما أكون أستهين بقدراتي بعض الشيء، إلا أني أقول لنفسي : "أستطيع فعل ذلك، سأكون أباً ناجحاً وسيكبر ولدي ليصبح مواطناً متزناً متعلماً مستقيماً في هذا العالم ولن يكرهني".
ثم أتخيل الجنين وهو ما يزال ينعم بالأمان في رحم زوجتي، يفتح عينيه فجأة وقد تنبه للفكرة: "ماذا لو لم يستطع أبي التكيف مع الوضع الجديد؟"
