I am a very strong believer in working creatively and efficiently.

Born in Seoul, South Korea to a bi-lingual family, I grew up speaking Korean and Japanese natively. I was raised in Vancouver, Canada, and educated in French Immersion. I trained and competed in various sports teams such as swimming, water polo, and rugby at provincial and pre-national levels. After graduation from high school, I went off the London, England to study Fashion and European Historical Costume Interpretation for Film and Stage at Central Saint Martins and Wimbledon School of Art. As, I started working in the arts, film, fashion, and costume fields internationally, I was naturally exposed to and made use of my language skills in translations and interpretations between staff and teams from different countries. Moving to Korea in 2015, I gained further experience in different fields such as IT, working for an electronics firm with clients such as LG and Samsung. I was able to make use of my language skills on a more global and professional stage working for the Korean National Ballet as the language specialist and in-house interpreter. In recent years, I moved to Hokkaido, Japan, where I run a flower shop where we specialize in bridal, floral installations and orders for various high-end clients. This has given me confidence in running a business as well as a specialization in a brand new field, botany and greenery. All of the experiences above have only fueled my drive for languages and communication further and I am passionate about pursuing and furthering my skills and studies in translations and interpretations.
