Swedish term

Initialt fanns praktiskt taget all cyanid i erytrocyter

Swedish to English Medical Medical: Pharmaceuticals
Initialt fanns praktiskt taget all cyanid i erytrocyter, men då dessas bindande kapacitet överskridits uppträdde cyanid även i plasma.

What would the best way to say the first part be? I am not sure.

practically all the cyanide was initially confined to the erythrocytes

Practically all the cyanide was initially confined to the erythrocytes

..is how I'd put it, but see if anyone else has a better suggestion in the clear light of day! (I've had a long hard week!)
Peer comment(s):

agree Karin and Folke Nettelblad (Folia Textproduktion HB) : Agree. But to emphasize the opposition between the first and the second part of the sentence I would write "initially, practically all the cyanide was...". On the other hand, I don't work into English, so I might be wrong.
