In more than one sense

Not really military unless of course it is used in some completely different meaning by the military. It is a term to confirm the truth about something and to emphasize this. Alternatively that something is true in more than one way. It should read 'i dubbel omfattning'.

You can also say 'större omfattning´ (to a greater extent) or ´mindre omfattning´ (to a smaller or lesser extent).

I have researched this term further now and found that it is indeed, apart from the everyday use, a military term used when the enemy has been surrounded from both flanks. Please await correct translated term.
Pls also accept my sincerest apologies.

double extent

Or double scope, etc. It's as simple as that, ie, no particular field.
