Source text - English Rommath was already awaiting them in the hall, leaning heavily against his staff and staring vacantly toward the far wall. He glanced at Lor'themar and Halduron as they entered, a flicker of disapproval crossing his face, but he turned back again without speaking. There was a time when he would have disputed Lor'themar's choice to present himself as a ranger far more aggressively than Halduron had, but not anymore. For all the thorn in his side that Rommath had often been, Lor'themar could now find only pity within his heart for the mage. Kael'thas's final betrayal had taken its greatest toll on his most loyal advocate.

Profile
Hi there! My name is Darío Damián Di Franco and I am the CEO of Games on Words. We are a group of young, highly motivated, creative, hard-working and detail-oriented professionals and language lovers, expert translators and localizers in the field of videogame. In order to have the highest possible output, we are able to focus on the documents to be translated with the maximum amount of concentration. We are accurate, reliable and experts in dealing with problems on a professional level, especially under stress and tight deadlines. Lastly, we are loyal and dedicated to our profession and, particularly, to you, our clients! We absolutely LOVE what we do!
I would like to point out these key characteristics of our group:
Excellent sense of humor.
Reliable and hard workers.
Comprehensive and thorough research skills.
Highly efficient communicators. Good at improving enthusiasm and motivation in other people.
Proactive and self-disciplined group of professionals.
Open-minded people, accepting criticism of all kind.
Goal-oriented and action-taker.
Gaming is, by far, our main field of work, and we absolutely love it! On a personal level, in the last 14 years, I've translated/proofread more than 15,000,000 words. As you can imagine, during these ten years, I've experienced everything a gamer translator needs to experience: I've translated games, proofread games, supervised recording sessions, fixed bugs, tested the games and a loooong etcetera. I am also a fierce gamer, which definitely gives me an edge! I do not only translate nor play videogames; I am also a board game and RPG pen-and-paper enthusiast and lover! In our offices, we have a huge game collection of more than 50 board games, zillions of Magic the Gathering cards and every console available (we even have a classic neo-orange Twin Famicom!) and we adore playing with them when searching for ideas and inspiration. Oh, and I almost forgot: we're also game designers! We're working now on two board games that hopefully will be released in 2022 :D
At Game on Words you will find the linguistic solutions you are looking for on time and with the highest quality ever. We strive to provide easily readable translations, containing appropriate and consistent terminology. More important, we strive to capture the essence of your message. We believe it is very important, when making a cultural bridge, to communicate your ideas and to say what you intended. As we work, we continuously check for consistency and terminology usage. We then compare the first draft with the original version. Finally, we check the translation for fluency and meaning, to ensure that the writing is simple and clear, as conveys what the author intended. We always go beyond the translation barrier and "think" the games as if we were the ones creating them, because we think that's the only way to be truly honest with the developers and with the intended audience. "Disrespecting" the original text a bit is super healthy for the translation process; sadly, today the gaming world is riddled with unnatural translations, simply because translators just glue themselves to the original text and fail to provide what the market needs.
I have been in the gaming industry for the last 14 uninterrupted years, and I have translated, proofread and adapted more than 15,000,000 words during that time.
