9 years of experience as a bilingual professional. Between 2002 and 2009 I have been working in Dublin for several multinational companies. Working in business administration using SAP, Oracle and Ariba, I acted as a point of contact between centralized English speaking departments (projects/migration, IT, logistics/shipping, accounting) and the German speaking in-country colleagues. I translated a wide range of business documents on a daily basis: communications, guidelines, training materials, SOPs and E-Mails.

In 2010 I was awarded the Diploma in Translation from the Chartered Institute of Linguists, UK’s largest professional association for linguists (examination content: General Translation, Business and Social Science). I started working as a full time freelance translator in 2010 and moved back to Germany in 2012.
